5 questions My Hero Academia needs to answer before its end

My Hero Academia is finally coming to a conclusion, but before it does, there are five issues that the show must answer after ten thrilling years.

One of the most well-known shonen series in recent memory is My Hero Academia. Kohei Horikoshi's manga, which was once accused for being a copy of Naruto, has managed to silence its detractors by demonstrating that it is the genuine heir to the manga giant.

The show depicts the tale of Deku's transformation into the greatest hero by following him as he enrols at the esteemed U.A. Academy following the gift of a potent quirk from his idol All Might. However, he will encounter many friends and enemies along the road.

In Chapter 423, My Hero Academia concluded its last story arc and introduced the epilogue. There are now just three chapters remaining before Chapter 430, the manga's August 5 conclusion, comes out. However, there are still some unanswered questions.

Will Deku get One For All back?

Izuku Midoriya, often known as Deku, our main character, was in every way an underdog from the beginning. He set out on his quest with no quirk and a huge desire to surpass All Might as the greatest hero. And in the process, he gained a lot of stuff, including friends and a fierce quirk.

Deku changed during the narrative from being Quirkess to having One For All, the strongest quirk available, and then losing it once more. He forced One For All to be transferred to the villain in an effort to put an end to Shigaraki's rampage, leaving him with little more than the Quirk's embers.

The characters have returned to their lives now that the conflict is ended. Deku, meanwhile, is still quirkless and hasn't revealed what transpired with One For All. And it leaves us to wonder if he will ever regain his quirk or if the aspirant hero will have a sad (and disappointing) conclusion.

What happened to Toga?

My Hero Academia is deserving of praise for its well-written antagonists, many of whom elicit strong feelings from us. Himiko Toga is perhaps the most well-known of the group.

Insane, insane, and very captivating, Toga faced off against Ochako Uraraka in the Final War. The girls' trip was lengthy and culminated in a masterfully drawn finale. Despite having different conceptions of love, the ladies were able to eventually comprehend one another during the conflict.

When Toga was last seen in Chapter 395, she made the decision to give her life in order to save Ochako. She gave her blood to the young hero so he may survive in a very moving and terrible scenario. And we don't know what happened to Toga, even if Ochako is subsequently proved to be alive. The manga has to clarify her status before it concludes, whether she's dead or in prison.

Who is Deku’s father?

The identity of Deku's father is one issue that has had people scratching their heads for years. The protagonist and his mother are revealed to have a tight bond right away. Furthermore, despite the fact that we are aware of his father's existence, he is never shown in the series or even referenced.

To be clear, there is nothing strange about the protagonist's father not showing up in the narrative. If only My Hero Academia hadn't been a shonen manga—as everyone knows, a shonen heroine needs to have a powerful father—it wouldn't have been, at least not in this sense.

As of right now, we are aware that Deku's father is Hisashi Midoriya, that he works abroad, and that he possesses an unidentified fire breath quirk. Horikoshi assured his readers in 2018 that Hisashi will make an appearance eventually. That hasn't occurred yet, which is unfortunate, but it needs to happen before the manga ends.

Will Ochaku finally confess to Deku?

Fans of My Hero Academia are well known for shipping characters, but only one couple—Deku and Ochako, the resident dorks of Class 1-A—has a serious possibility of making it into canon.

From the start, the two quickly became friends and have helped one another through both highs and lows. However, in typical shonen form, Ochako has become attached to Deku without the lad in question realizing it.

While the romance plot has gratefully been sidestepped for the most part in favor of the characters' development, the manga hasn't been hinting at a possible romance between the two. We also need to know if there is still more to this protracted plot between the two now that the war and the drama are coming to a conclusion.

Who is the mysterious man in Chapter 425?

Even if the conflict was over, My Hero Academia didn't allow its readers much time to relax before introducing a new, intense mystery. Chapter 425 introduces us to a mystery individual just two chapters into the epilogue.

The man's clothing are ragged, and he appears exhausted and damaged. Furthermore, he appears to have a great deal of sorrow for what he did and breaks down in tears. The man's appearance and abrupt entry into the plot have fans speculating endlessly.

Some people think it's Shigaraki, who managed to survive his own death. Some believe it may just be a new villain or a random prisoner. Some ideas even suggest that he is Deku's father, which would be an interesting way for him to appear in the narrative. However, the manga hasn't yet made this enigmatic character public. However, we're hoping to learn before Chapter 430.

There are a few additional storylines that also require attention. However, these five are the most important ones, and at the end, we need to know the answers. And we might just, considering Horikoshi's painstaking writing.
